The Plaid Thing.

It’s the second time around for me with the plaid trend.

In 1991 it was a little more Nirvana Grunge but this time around I’m feeling early Vivienne Westwood and taking punk tartan a touch more corporate.

Struggling with the pastel coats… they just look like dressing gowns to me!

  • PaulaJoye

    They are actually so fabulous.
Try it with jeans and you wont look back.

I was thinking exactly the same thing, especially the one in the street photo! I think if you contrast it a bit less – put it with charcoal instead of black, denim instead of navy (like Paula suggested below), it would probably look a little less like a dressing gown. And maybe try a shorter, hip length coat?

  • Di

Love your take on Winter style. Can you recommend some current heel options to wear with opaques and skirts, other than boots? Usually wear patent wedges, but looking for some new inspirations : )
